Yeah, and even ADHD meds aren't the panacea they're often expected to be (unfortunately). But no one wants to hear about that/admit that supportive community care and things like UBI would help more than anything else!

Not knowing anything about this girl other than what you've described, this is a picture-perfect description of someone with undiagnosed ADHD who has burned out at least once as an adult and has subsequently lost a lot of executive functioning skills along the way. It's a rough path to live!

My parents have sold their house that's been our home now for 20 years (😭).

They bought an inexpensive condo in an up-and-coming neighborhood to serve as their home base (and where I'll live) while they drive around the country in an RV, visiting national parks and friends & family.
