Attorney General Ellison issues consumer alert regarding 23andMe bankruptcy This past Sunday, March 23rd, 23andMe filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The filing raises uncertainties about the future of consumer’s genetic data.

In case you haven't heard, 23andMe filed for bankruptcy.

This raises questions about how the genetic data they hold will be protected. Minnesota customers may wish to proactively protect their data by requesting their accounts be deleted.
