50 members of Congress have cosponsored this bill (ten in the Senate and 40 in the House), making this the largest coalition supporting the wealth tax to date. Americans have spoken.
It's time for a wealth tax.

V4P stands in solidarity with Dolores Huerta, Ana Murguía, Debra Rojas, and the women and children whose labor and leadership shaped the farmworker movement — often without recognition, and at times while enduring harm. Their stories matter. We choose to center truth and those impacted.
Families need relief from rising energy costs. The #EnergyBillsReliefAct would help by restoring clean energy incentives, speeding up grid connections, and expanding relief for households.
More affordable energy, faster. Thanks to the leaders in Congress pushing this forward!
The SAVE Act is not about stopping voter fraud. It was designed to serve the fraud in the White House.
Trump knows his policies aren’t popular so he is desperate to stop Americans from having their voices heard.
It’s the “Save Trump’s Ass Act.”
I will vote no.
The SAVE Act is voter suppression—not security. It would purge millions, especially married women with name changes, low-income voters without passports, and more.
Tell Your Senators: Vote NO to protect our democracy!
It's already ILLEGAL for non-citizens to vote. This voter suppression bill—the "Save America Act"—solves a non-existent problem while disenfranchising millions of actual citizens. It's a lie from start to finish.

This is flying under the radar about the SAVE America Act:
It would require states to upload voter data to DHS's SAVE database which is notoriously full of errors and illegally pools voters' data.
That puts both privacy and voting rights at risk.
Graphic image that says march is women's history month with an image of protestors with their fists raised holding signs that say bigger than roe and pussy power. Voices for Progress logo is featured on the top right corner of the graphic.
In this moment, waves of legislative attacks are undermining the foundations of our democracy and the sustainable future communities are fighting to build. This Women's History Month, we stay grounded in honoring the women who choose action to forge safer, more sustainable futures.
Democrats are standing firm: no blank check for ICE abuses. The GOP is trying to use Trump’s strikes on Iran as leverage but Democrats are still demanding accountability. Sneaking in policies that undermine safety, autonomy, and dignity are not the way to do it. www.nbcnews.com/politics/tru...
For all those who didn't watch tonight, allow me to summarize:
The liar lied again.
Top (worst) moments from the longest SOTU speech on record:
🚩Racist conspiracy theories
🚩Ignoring families struggling to make ends meet
🚩Pretending Epstein survivors weren't in the room
🚩Demonizing trans kids
🚩Openly talking about making it harder to vote
Did you know that 15 of the 43 drugs on TrumpRx can be found cheaper elsewhere?
He won’t say that because saving you money doesn’t matter if his name isn’t on it. #SOTU

explains that the SAVE Act is "very, very carefully crafted to exclude certain groups." That includes voters of color, younger voters, married women who have changed their names, and more.
Tariffs are now near their highest levels in a century under the Trump administration. Even after the Supreme Court struck down the policy, newly proposed tariffs push prices back up at a time when families are still battling to cover everyday costs.

Ahead of the State of the Union, progressive groups led by @taxgreed.bsky.social argue that tackling high costs starts by taxing extreme wealth — because any real shift in power “must begin with taxing extreme wealth.” @politico.com
Attorneys general are urging the U.S. Senate to reject the SAVE America Act, calling it an unconstitutional power grab blocking millions from voting. They warn it undermines state authority and access to the ballot. The time to stand up against authoritarianism is now: Stop The Save Act!
“Our flag is red, white and blue, but our nation is a rainbow…”
Rev. Jesse Jackson, who died Tuesday at 84, reminded us that America is a quilt: many colors, many communities, held together by a common thread.
In a time of division, his vision calls us back to what is right.
V4P supports transparency and accountability wherever harm has occurred. Protecting children and young people should always come first — regardless of party or position.
We agree with @earthjustice.org: abandoning climate protections isn’t just reckless — it puts our health, safety, and economic security at risk. Democrats must stand united against efforts to roll back safeguards that protect our communities.
@reprileyny.bsky.social, Rep. Josh Harder, @gluesenkampperez.house.gov: House Dems must stand up to authoritarianism. Vote NO on the SAVE Act.

The SAVE Act (and SAVE 2.0) would make it harder for millions of eligible Americans to cast their ballots — all under the false claim that it stops non-citizens from registering (which is already illegal). Eliza Sweren-Becker & Owen Bacskai for @brennancenter.org

This Texas "upset" isn’t just about one seat.
Voters in a deep-red, Trump-won district rejected MAGA politics despite GOP money and endorsements. This is how harmful policies get reversed to protect workers, healthcare and schools — one election at a time.
Momentum like this is how midterms flip.
Black History Month reminds us: resilience fuels progress. Democracy survives only when rights and civil liberties are protected for all. As authoritarianism rises, we must stand together to defend our democracy. #BlackHistoryMonth2026
V4P’s President @sandrafluke.bsky.social writes: When tax cuts for the wealthy turn into health care cuts for everyone else, families pay the price. Letting ACA credits expire to fund billionaire giveaways is a choice—and it’s the wrong one. @taxgreed.bsky.social
Arresting journalists for doing their job is what authoritarian governments do—not democracies. This is a chilling attack on press freedom, full stop. @donlemonofficial.bsky.social
A govt shutdown won’t slow ICE enforcement; agents will keep operating even if DHS funding lapses, backed by billions already appropriated. Meanwhile, America mourns the loss of life at the hands of federal officers. Shutdown or not, the public deserves dignity, safety, transparency, and respect.
After the second fatal shooting of a U.S. citizen by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis, Senate Democrats say they won’t fund DHS without new guardrails on ICE and CBP. That stand could trigger a partial shutdown, but this is a rare opportunity to demand accountability.
ACA enrollment deadlines are closing just as expanded subsidies expire, which will double premiums for many. From retirees to gig workers to parents, families face impossible choices while Congress remains deadlocked. Amid this all, one thing is clear: America needs expanded healthcare, not less.
