This is my experience as well
I used to clown on this guy because it's clearly a lazy PR thing (and iirc he works in PR) but I did just see a video of him with Julian Casablancas discussing Gaza and talking shit about Zionists and he seemed more comfortable and informed on it than Julian so I can't be too mad at him
I think I'm going to teach my daughter about Star Fox today

If you feed the unibomber an apple, he will turn red and his bombs will cause little heart explosions
It does feel good to *have* the physical object, and I have some regret that I'm not able to plug in my childhood console and hand my daughter an actual vintage controller. But I know a lot of that is wrapped in nostalgia and fetishism that is only exacerbated by content creators in my feed.
I would narrow down the stuff you want the most and sell off the things you won't really miss, then to can see how you feel. If you were like me, you went a little crazy obtaining things for the novelty of owning them and because it was a great time to buy older games before prices got really nuts.
As someone that sold off their game collection to put a down payment on their house, it was worth it and I don't really miss all that stuff, BUT I do occasionally regret getting rid of my Gamecube, which was my favorite. ROMs are easier than ever to find and run though.
Good movie and good podcast imo
Loaned my neighbor my chainsaw because I saw him struggling to trim his overgrown hedges/trees with a small trimmer. He was really happy to use it and I was happy he finally trimmed them. Everyone got a nice little win, felt great about it all day.

I haven't bought new fans in a while but when I built my last PC they were absolutely worth the hype. Love how quiet they are and I'm very sensitive to fan noise.

I'm at the point in my life where if your merch shirt isn't Comfort Colors, I'm out. No thanks.
Shame she never got to see Spotlight!
Only time I've ever felt pride in being from Polk County when Rick Ross name drops it here.
Neighbor was shocked to learn I was watching my kid alone while my wife slept. Tells me a lot about the men in her life.

I got lazy after having mastered Audacity but around a dozen people have told me to get on to Reaper at this point so I really just need to buck up and get comfortable with it (and pay $60 I guess).
Alright, Audacity has finally pushed me over the edge by making an hour long podcast take 16GB. I'm learning Reaper TONIGHT.
These are really sick, but I can't stand the idea of buying essentially blind boxes.
I quit SOMA because of this despite really digging it, I've always meant to go back to finish it.
I also saw them everywhere here and pulled the trigger since they were so cheap on AliExpress. It's legit cool as hell!
Sometimes you gotta get out of the house and spend $40 at a few places to feel human again
I'll hold them down for you

Two packaged amiibo of Donkey Kong and Pauline
I was so effusive with praise for Donkey Kong Bonanza that I ended up with two of the Amiibo for my birthday.
