Added 2k words to the old Franken-novel bringing it to 71.5k words. Over a third of the way through this story. I can see outs where I can finish it before my desired word count, but I'm gonna try and keep it going. Not bad for a Tuesday.

Cranked out 2k words on the old Franken-novel... some weird stuff is showing up in here. Where does it come from? Now at 67k words and across the novel-size threshhold. Also, if I'm typing the word thanks, there's a 90-percent chance it will come out as Thanos.

Added 2k words to my latest work, crossing the 60k word threshold... actually at 61k. Now I have the beginnings of a migraine going on. Went to the absence management site, too late to put in an absence. I'm in the saddle for a migraine and middle schoolers, the perfect combO for the afternoon.

Until I've sold a book, or I'm ready to publish a book, I don't say anything about it other than genre and word count.

Weird, bizarro horror.

For me, storytelling is like graverobbing, and I never know what I'll find once I start digging, but I know someone will want it. 2k words added to my Franken-novel, bringing it to 54K words... climbing and climbing up to a point where everything will go insane somewhere around the 100k word mark.

I wasn't mad at it.

When I'm writing... like really writing... I'm not even there. The person inside doesn't know how to spell, just spelled winced as "winst," and I can't help but wonder if the two of us will ever meet, so I can give him a hard time about it.

Cranked out 2k words on the Franken-novel. Now sitting at 52k words. Feeling good about it. In other news, a little birdy has told me that my book One-Shot will be going on sale tomorrow for 99 cents... so if you've been waiting to get an ebook of it, you're in luck. I'll post a link tomorrow.

Managed to add 2k words to my Franken-novel, cracking the 50k word barrier. Still rolling, still figuring out this beautiful, gory, disturbing mess. Gonna be a lot of spackle needled when the rough draft is done though.

Been reading it. This Split Second photo is a perfect match. As a consumer of low-budget late 80s 90s cyberpunk, it's a perfect tonal match. Loving it so far. Get you a copy. Makes me think of Circuitry Man, Johnny Mnemonic, Nemesis, and Freejack. Bravo!

Another great review for part 12 of This Rotten World. Thanks for the review, Gem. Thinking about bringing back some old characters with the next one, just toying with how that's all going to work in my brain. #zombies #zombiefiction

Thanks for the great review, Dominic. I especially like how he pointed out that most of the characters are scum with a capital s, but you wind up rooting for them anyway. It is by design, my own little commentary on the world, I suppose. Anyway, killer zombie books for sale over here. #zombies

Been clickety clacking away all morning. Wrote 2k words on the old Franken-novel, bringing it to 47k words. Cranked out some newsletters... which I seem to have just straight up forgotten about writing this month, and now, I'm looking to chill. Cover is for a semi-historical Indigenous horror book.

I love me some historical fiction. I also really dig Sherlock Holmes (I even got to go to 221B Baker Street on my honeymoon). It was awesome to get to write my own take on these classic characters. Please consider grabbing this book!

I get it. The one I'm working on has so many pieces that after I write, I have to sit back and make sure everything makes sense.
