I tried to hack a spatula in Cybergen once - do we have hackable spatulas yet?

Valid - IG-88 would be a good addition to this crowd.

I just joined Hey.Café which is a new Canadian built social media website that is privacy focused and ad free.
You can use this link if you want to join too: hey.cafe/r/wittyfool
Awee!! That’s so cool!
@amirtalai.bsky.social I have since this post been diagnosed with a brain tumour which was resected and I now need to go into treatment - so I probably can’t organize anything as I’ll be busy with this fight.
But I could probably connect you with local people who could do it.
Why a spoon cousin?! 🤣🤣
Philosophy Tube (Abigail Thorn) has a video that is somewhat about this - the effects of the constant bombardment of news. I definitely would recommend giving the video a watch for anyone interested in the topic: youtu.be/4F9QzXjUB10?...
I bet if you streamed it you could get even more donations.
If you head to the Calgary Fan Expo again next year I’d be happy to try and organize something. I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only local film industry person interested in helping out.

Danielle Smith has one card to play: picking fights for the sake of fighting. If she doesn’t make an enemy out of the federal government, she’s left with no one to blame but herself.
Albertans are proud to be Canadians. We know better than to play games when our nation’s sovereignty is threatened.
Even if I knew nothing about PP - when any politician takes themselves too seriously to talk to 22 Minutes, I just can't trust them at all.
Voted in the advanced polls! Line ups were apparently a bit longer today but it didn’t take too long. #canada #yyc
A winter landscape in Lofoten featuring a dramatic mountain peak rising above a fjord. The shoreline is dusted with fresh snow, and soft golden light breaks through the mist, revealing a subtle rainbow in the distance. The scene captures a calm and ethereal winter atmosphere.
This is one of those classic Lofoten scenes—everyone shoots it. But this morning… fresh snow, soft golden light, and even a faint rainbow in the mist…. #landscape #lofoten
In case you're not a scientist, anyone promising we "will know" the cause of autism in September is committing scientific fraud. You cannot know the outcome of a study before it is conducted unless you are fabricating data. We might say "high confidence", but never "will".
Prime Minister Mark Carney shakes the hand of President Macron after speaking at a podium in Paris, France.
Canada is strong. Together with our allies, we are even stronger.
Good to meet with you in France, President Macron. The friendship between our two countries is the envy of the world.
I mean I know it’s a sales gimmick, but in Alberta there is a level of “how many of my neighbours can I trust to not be pro-American?” - so here at least I can only take these shows as a good sign
Pierre Poilievre is a flat out threat to Canada. End of story. #canada #voting #poilievre #security
I’ve been gaming (ttrpgs) since I was very young, and my best advice to new players is to expand your horizons.
By which I mean, try different game systems!
There is a world of options out there beyond D&D (pun intended) and a lot of them are incredibly cool. So go give some a try!
Pity, I had fun with Veilguard. Although I probably come down somewhere in the middle on it. It has flaws, but it also has good things about it. It was a decent experience over all. One might call it impressive even given everything that went on behind the scenes.
This article is worth the read for all Albertans. Smith is a liability. Our province being the only one not stepping up to protect Canada will only hurt our standing nationally. There are good Canadians in this province, let’s not allow Smith to speak for us. #alberta #daniellesmith #canadian
Of Note - It's probably more accurate to say a world with "super people" in the sense that they have costumes and strange code names. There's actually very few powers on display. But that kind of makes it better to be honest.
Film Recommendation #1: The Guards Themselves
It's made by Door Monster. It's a mockumentary style film about fumbling anarchists in a world with super powers trying to take down the wealthy elite. What it lacks in polish it more than makes up for in charm and humour. You can watch it on YouTube.
I’m a firm believer in the value of public broadcasting. It’s good to see other Canadians feel similarly for the most part. But Poilievre’s attitudes around it worry me.

But that’s my personal feelings on it, and as you can see, I can't really say Rian Johnson was given much to work with.
If I try to look at Last Jedi independent of all of that mess, it was, in my opinion, a mediocre film. I personally found it to be a bit of a meandering mess filled with far too much slow exposition.
The strange middle ground they struck was just messy. And has yes resulted in people saying things like, "Luke Skywalker wouldn’t do that," because in C-Canon, he wouldn't have.
And all of that is just part of why so many Star Wars fans were upset. I personally think it would have been better if the films had gone their own way entirely or if they’d stuck more closely to C-Canon.
