A druid anthro lizard who has green scales with tan and amber accents. He is wearing leather armor, skull of another anthro lizard as a headpiece, and carrying a staff made of roots.

My hero is my bus driver who is honking his horn at all the drivers trying to cut him off and just flying down the street.

That's so pretty. It's very cool how it's reaching out to the sunlight.

They don’t care that too many pharma companies are getting rich from experimental hormonal therapies, because it destroys the “gender binary” [highlighted] that has structured social relations between the genders for the whole of Western civilization.

I can't believe that he also doesn't believe in a gender binary. Is he woke?

I'm very disappointed that he did that trip. You'd think they would have learned from Cuomo.

The question, of course, is the scope of it. Like should it focus on commonalities between different servers, should it just be on an analysis of one server's history, etc? Also there's the ethics of it and the fact that I'm not affiliated with a university currently.

Yeah, I mean I've already wrote a thesis on railroad unions and have talked to my peers about this idea and they've basically all responded positively. Maybe I could do research for a journal article first and see how it works out.

I really do want to do a history of an online community if I try for a masters or doctorate of history in the future. Like, it's actually quite interesting and I think very useful for the future of the study of history itself. If I were to chose a community, it'd probably be a minecraft server.

Like he's getting more and more awful with the tariffs as well. The *base* for the EU is 15% for some reason, as you know. Sure the horrible stuff in the murder bill is delayed past the midterms, but the tariffs start... uh... now?

My first "this is doing numbers" thing and it's a reply. Man. I'm not even a reply guy.

Oh yeah, but it is actually historically unsustainable to do the burrito taxi. Like that is really dumb and not defensible.

There is a distinct difference between getting cheap food from the gas station and the burrito taxi. Like, come on.

People have said before that it is not the crime, but the cover-up that the news cares about.

Reading @kevinmkruse.bsky.social's Fault Lines, and I can't believe that the right used Jack Bauer to justify their torture campaign. Did Scalia really say that?

I hear you, but Brennan would try to game it and not talk.

Though, that can be mitigated through a rule.
