My wife also filled it out and she has very different answers.

Thanks! The most difficult one for me to figure out was art style but I'm happy with that choice. The other closest contender was Guilty Gear Strive because that game is gorgeous and I love the character designs.
This was fun to fill out but also very difficult for some categories. Decently satisfied with my picks, tried to avoid putting the same game twice. Sad that I didn't find somewhere to put Final Fantasy XV but so it goes.
(Final Fantasy X-2 is so good, it really doesn't deserve all the hate)
True, but at least they are in more specific contexts! I might actually fill this one out (tomorrow, because it's already well past 1:00am...)
Oh I really like this, having categories like this is much more interesting than just the nebulous "these are the games you need to play to know me" type lists.
It's very trippy to hear Kasane Teto's voice come out of a vinyl record.
I was very interested in the game after it was so hyped, but I bounced off it pretty hard when I tried to play it too. Agreed it's not a bad game, but it didn't grab me. I still need to check out Dredge, on a related note.
Sorry to hear that, I can only imagine what that must be like. Do your best to take care of yourself.
Nah don't worry, when I was reading it before I did peek ahead to see the number one.
And yeah I dunno, there was just something about the specific ways in which you talked about DS2 that made it stand out to me as something special to you.
I got through reading about half of this when you posted it, this is a good reminder to go back and finish reading it ๐
I did correctly guess your GotY before reading it, so I've got that going for me.
I feel like Koei Tecmo is an option, Type Moon used them to publish Fate/Samurai Remnant so there's an existing relationship. I'm sure they can get someone on board though.
This reads to me like a disagreement on censorship. Bandai not having the best track record on that, and Fate generally relying on heavy themes.
CSM is actually one of the manga I'm current on, and I've gotta say reading today's chapter and seeing people's reactions to everything has been quite a trip.
It's got highs and lows but I've generally enjoyed it.
I made a pngtuber model for my wife, so now she can stream as a silly pink catgirl! Animated with PNGTubeRemix.
I don't love any of them but I do see potential in the grass and water ones. The dog does nothing for me.
Now I've gotta figure out how to magic up $450 in the next year to get a Switch 2 ๐ซ
(It is a good idea because I love my wife)
What if I just stay up until 1:00 AM on a night before work talking to my wife about early 2000's webcomics and their value as artistic works? Surely that's a good idea that I won't regret in the morning.
Fate/Strange Fake is actually super interesting! I wasn't sure what to think going into it but I'm really enjoying it thus far.
All of the anime I'm watching this season is really good, actually. I was right to be excited for it.
It's always interesting when a timelapse shows there was an entire other drawing in there before the final one took shape.
Stay safe! We're mostly just getting really cold temps here, though there is a light dusting of snow.
A black cat sticking her tongue out and wearing a birthday party hat with the message "Happy Birthday Joel!"
Happy birthday!! ๐๐
Any character from Soul Calibur would be cool, but I'd especially be interested to see you draw Nightmare or Viola.
A bag of Tangy Pickle and Cool Ranch Doritos chips.
This feels like targeted advertising towards trans girls.
My wife got me the remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics for Christmas, so I've got some motivation to play more in 2026. Here's hoping!
I did watch more gaming streamers than I have in the past, so I feel like that helps make up for it some, but still all told not a lot of gaming happened. I do intend to return to Elden Ring and Legends Arceus at some point, because those were fun.
MiSide, While the Iron's Hot, Shovel Knight, HoloCure, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy XIV, Vampire Survivors, Fast Food Simulator, Mini Motorways, Equilinox, Pokemon Soul Silver Randomizer, Minecraft, Umamusume Pretty Derby, Satisfactory
My yearly list of "what games did I actually play this year?" Not really a great year for me in gaming, a pretty small list and not a lot that I have any strong feelings about. The only "new" game I played was a several-years-old gacha game that only just got a localization (Umamusume).
One across the nose, one down my chin, several on my chest. Very battle shonen coded.
I have gotten so many bites/scratches from my cat recently that my wife says I look like post-timeskip Joy ๐
Yeah I've been still going there some to look at art and keep up with vtuber stuff, but I think I'm going to give that up. It is too far gone.
For various reasons I'm debating if I even watch this year or if I just see what was announced after the fact. Might check out one of the Hololive co-streams of it to see what that's like. I look forward to your posts, too!
