Production on JINGLE SQUAD passed the halfway mark over Crimbo & to celebrate (but also so @rorydraws4.bsky.social @robjoneswrites.bsky.social & @andylanning.bsky.social could enjoy the fruits of their labours over the last year) the folks over at Shift ran off some sample copies. Very Cool.
Before Crimbo I shared part of the bonkers page from Chapter 4 of JINGLE SQUAD that @rorydraws4.bsky.social was working on. Post Crimbo @robjoneswrites.bsky.social has gotten his mitts on it and ratcheted up the bonkers even more... Can't wait for the colours...

End pages.. Whats the deal? as JINGLE SQUAD is only my 2nd GN I'm learning a lot as we go. For example, the chapters are all different lengths so @rorydraws4.bsky.social & @robjoneswrites.bsky.social needed to get a creative ensuring each chapter started on an even No. can anyone say wrapping paper.

JINGLE SQUAD isn't just home to fantastic characters, it's also home to a number of mildly magic artefacts, none more so than the Sonic-Army-Knife.
A great example of how @rorydraws4.bsky.social & @robjoneswrites.bsky.social added more story & richness to the world through Chapter Covers.
Killer Robot Snowmen might be the best snowmen ever but It's safe to say @rorydraws4.bsky.social designed them differently to how I saw them in my head, they @andylanning.bsky.social added in visual storytelling beats & @robjoneswrites.bsky.social gave them a language of their own - So much better.
