Book 35 of 2025. I've read a lot of @stephenking.bsky.social
and the Dark Tower books have been on my shelves for years. I thought I read this one about the time it came out, but after this read, I think this was my first. Not what I expected, but I enjoyed it. On to book 2.

Book 32 or 2025. An outstanding conclusion to this "trilogy". I will come back to "The Old Man's War" universe to see where Mr. Scalzi takes it. I highly recommend these three books. Perfect escapist books - that make you think.

Book 30 of 2025. It's been on my TBR for quite a while - I should have read it sooner. I really enjoyed the story, the characters and the writing. Good thing I have the rest of this series in my Kindle. I will definitely be reading more from Scalzi.com

Book 26 of 2025. Flat out loved it. The story, the cast of characters, the writing - from start to finish @louberney.bsky.social spins one heck of tale. The banter between Shake and Gina had me smiling from ear to ear. On to "Whiplash River" !

Book 25 of 2025. This one grabbed both the music and book lover in me. I enjoyed the twists and turns in the story and Adam Zantz is a very relatable lead character - I am curious to see where @danielweizmann.bsky.social will take him next. I will be adding Cinnamon Girl to my TBR stack.

Book 24 of 2025. Another fun read from @leegoldberg.bsky.social Love the relationship and banter between Sharpe and Walker. Then throw in Eve and Donuts, a great story and just enough humor - it makes for a fast paced thrill ride. Enjoyed the heck out of it.

Book 23 of 2025. Yes, I did read it in one sitting, it was that damn good. Bruce Borgos spins one hell of a story. Fantastic characters - Beck has fast become a favorite - Brinley and the rest of the cast are perfect. Can't wait for book 3.

Book 9 of 2025. This one's been on the TBR for a bit. Finished it in two sittings. Kicking myself for putting it off. Ryan Steck spins a heck of a story. Gotta find out where Matt Redd goes from here. The next two books were ordered.

Book 8 of 2025. Could not put this one down. "X" is a favorite, and Greg Hurwitz knocked it out of the park with NEMESIS. Two of my favorite chapters - 39 and 72. V and X in top form, simply fantastic writing. Highly recommended.
