Maybe you think 'it will take decades' or 'they won't want us back' or 'petitions don't work', but if you believe deep down that our future lies within our closest trading block why not sign this anyway! You never know. If you don't ask you don't get. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...
The faster we #Breturn, the better for all of us. The economy would benefit; there would be more opportunities for growth; and freedom of movement would benefit Britons as well as Europeans.

Donald Tusk: "I am aware this is a dream: that instead of a #Brexit, we will have a #Breturn. Perhaps I am labouring under an illusion. But I'd rather be an optimist and harbour these dreams in my heart. Sometimes they come true in politics." ~AA
Iāve not trusted Labour for 9 years. I donāt intend to stop. I know Labourers like long games but 9 years?
Donald Tusk just expressed his hopes for a #Breturn. If you'd also like this to happen why not sign/share this petition. It can't do any harm to officially express our wishes and hopefully swing a debate. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...
What makes me most disgusted, even more than the dolts who voted for Brexit, is the self-immolating apologists who screech that it will take us 50 years and Starmer can't disown Brexit because newspapers.
Those people make me sick.

š“Joining the EU Single Market Could Be the Gamechanger for Keir Starmerās Government
The UK economy and the new Labour Government needs an urgent shot in the arm. Could this be the solution?

There's a simple solution to both.
But Starmer and Reeves appear dead set against it.

There is no better time than right now to abandon Twitter.
Make it useless. Worthless.
Reset update: Cherry-picking is alive and well in Starmerās Labour govt as it seeks to āmake Brexit work.ā But:
"The UK is mistaken if it thinks it can use an agreement on defence as a backdoor to getting sweet deals with us on trade," an EU diplomat says www.bbc.com/news/article...

The best possible case for abolishing the House of Lords and two-party cronyism. Starmer should be deeply ashamed of what has become of this govt just six months in www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

If Brexit was in any way good or had worked, no one, not even the most ardent and paranoid Brexiter, would be worried about its future because it would already be assured. They are only panicking now because it has so evidently failed.
Labour's getting on with the job of replacing the HoL with an elected second chamber by... appointing 30 more Lords?!*
Problem is, that sends entirely the wrong message to anyone who's unconvinced that Labour will definitely go through with said reform.
(*Rebalancing, blah blah blah. I get it.)
Iāll be voting Green again. This time there will be many more of us.š
. @adrianramsay.bsky.social on what genuine devolution *should* mean. And it's not Labour's top-down "devolution our way, like it or not" - centralist control-freakery that will take power *further* from local communities.
This is going down like a bucket of cold sick in #Cornwall.
