Aaaah I’m getting so close to have finalised the online guided journey I’m creating for people who are going on sabbatical!

36 and slightly uninterested in turning 37 although 38 doesn’t feel so bad for some reason

Now that you mention it I do feel like shepherd’s pie is more of a dinner thing than a lunch thing.. I’d still be happy to have it for lunch though 😆

Got any examples of what qualifies as ‘’dinner food’ only?

Sandwiches are lunch foods. Anything else can be lunch or dinner!

I also often have breakfast food for dinner. If someone turns me in to the meal police I make more fried eggs on buttered toast when they arrive and they always admit that it feels deliciously right.

You’re now making me wonder whether there’s such a thing as ‘lunch’ or ‘dinner’ foods

This is the most wholesome thing I’ve read all week 🥰

I love to hear Baby Cosmos stories

Aw I was convinced MidJourney would do a dreamy job of that..

I’m so bad at giving it prompts that I dare not even try 😂

I like that image! I wonder what Midjourney would make out of it 😏

😃😃

It’s called ‘On Sabbatical’ !

There are a couple of sections/exercises where I talk about nervous system regulation and point to Nervous System Mastery (such a great name!)

I’d love to chat about this once your cohort is done to make sure I’m capturing the spirit well! :)

There’s something really rewarding about creating something completely from scratch.

In big businesses, every project almost always starts with something else..

I’m building this online space which is a collection of stories, insights, reflections and quests for people who are looking for support while on sabbatical..

It’s looking really good!!

It’s like taking a step back and looking at the forest after having spent a lot of time nurturing each tree 🌳🌳🌳

The feeling of spaciousness that’s flowing through me is unreal

old friend: definitely @madeincosmos.net who unknowingly convinced me to be more active on Twitter because of her thoughtful reflections on parenting a tiny human (among other things)

I work part-time, four days a week. The rest of the time I’m building a cool little project on the side.

This week, I am working two days only at my job hehe.

Sending thanks to the country I live in for giving everyone two days of bank holidays for Easter + to Fridays which I always have off.

I spin therefore I am I spent a lot of my life feeling like a spinning top. It used to be my default way of being before I went on sabbatical, not because it was the best way of being but because I didn't know any other.

I had to lower my stress levels significantly before I could unlock new ways of being.

I wrote about this a few days ago when everything Substack-shaped ended up buried.

Here it is!

You know how *noticing* that you are about to step into a familiar pattern allows you to *choose* to act differently, should you want to?

I don’t think you can notice those things when you’re under stress, let alone spend energy (that you don’t have) on figuring out how else you could react.
