This is incredible.
Also. Fuck RFK Jr.
This really should not be a surprise to anyone. But then I wrote a post in 2024 listing Hungary's influence op as one of the things NOT being covered bc of the 1000th Joe Biden Old story.
"Trump’s threats and actions against Venezuela, Cuba, Greenland, Canada and now Iran have convinced 3/5 of Americans that he’s a reckless steward of US foreign and military affairs."
Yes, voters care about this! @schaller67.bsky.social at @atrupar.com's place:

I just watched an Australian documentary about Trump and the Epstein files on German TV.
It contained more detailed info (and sources and evidence) than any US corporate media has published.
It's amazing how much better people in other countries are informed about Trump's crimes.
After falsely criticizing Pope Leo XIV, Trump published, then cowardly deleted this AI made image of himself...
Do you see POC, Latinos or Asians, for instance, around this war-praising blasphemy —says the non-religious person I am— ??
Sarah A Mathews, a Republican young lady comment on this.
Less than three hours after the polls closed, Viktor Orban conceded that he lost. Five years after Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, he still falsely claims that he won.
Tomorrow, I offer my analysis of what this means for the midterms. Subscribe now. bit.ly/4qmEiFz
Viktor Orban accomplished so much of what the Trump movement wants to accomplish here
he ruled for 16 years and rewrote the rules in his favor
and still, they threw him out
and you know what? they did it by voting
don’t let anyone tell you voting doesn’t matter
NASA astronaut Victor Glover, Artemis II pilot, left, and NASA astronaut Christina Koch, Artemis II mission specialist are seen sitting on a Navy MH-60 Seahawk from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 on the flight deck of USS John P. Murtha after they and fellow crewmates CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen, Artemis II mission specialist, and NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman, Artemis II commander, were extracted from their Orion spacecraft after splashdown, Friday, April 10, 2026, in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. NASA’s Artemis II mission took the quartet on a nearly 10-day journey around the Moon and back to Earth. Following a splashdown at 5:07 p.m. PDT (8:07 p.m. EDT), NASA, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force teams are working to bring the Orion spacecraft aboard the recovery ship. Image Credit: NASA/Bill Ingalls
Of all of the post-splashdown photos from the Artemis II mission, this is my favorite.
It captures the best of who we are, the best of who we can be.

Xkcd cartoon explaining that making fun of people for not knowing stuff is training them to not share their joy of discovery with you - so everyone loses.
The last week has been an absolute joy, watching so many folk get incredibly lit up by SCIENCE! 🎉🎉🎉
Yet, inevitably, some people asking well-meant & genuinely curious questions had "LOL u r SO DUMB" comments flung at them.
This is snobbish and self-defeating!
Here's a cartoon explaining why.

WATCHES IN SPACE 🧵
Ever notice how all of the astronauts are wearing a billion watches in every picture? Christina Koch is wearing three in this picture

Notice how the most celebrated and successful space mission in *decades* was run by at least 50% “DEI hires”—not all white men? And not even all Americans. Maybe diversity *is* strength . . .

I've studied so many concentration camps through history that held vulnerable people in just this kind of crowded squalor. You demonize people, you demand more arrests, this is what you get. It already has its own budget and its own momentum, and is on track to go much further, unless we stop it.
Humanity did that. Science did that. Publicly-funded research did that. Excellent universities did that. Diversity did that. International cooperation did that.
Artemis II is a perfect example of what we can do at our best.
Welcome home, Integrity crew!
Abstract Traditional vaccines target specific pathogens, limiting their scope against diverse respiratory threats. We describe an intranasal liposomal formulation combining toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 and 7/8 ligands with a model antigen, ovalbumin, that provided broad, durable protection in mice for at least 3 months against infection with SARS-CoV-2 and Staphylococcus aureus. In addition, the vaccine protected mice from other viruses (SARS-CoV-2, SARS, SCH014 coronavirus), bacteria (Acinetobacter baumannii), and allergens. Protection was mediated by persistent ovalbumin-specific CD4+ and CD&+ memory T cells that imprinted alveolar macrophages (AMs), enhancing antigen presentation and antiviral immunity. Following infection, vaccinated mice mounted rapid pathogen-specific T cell and antibody responses and formed ectopic lymphoid structures in the lung. These results reveal a class of "universal vaccines" against diverse respiratory threats.
The study has been published in Science. YES, it is PEER-REVIEWED.

NOTE: THIS IS PRECLINICAL.

Imagine trusting science to bring astronauts to the moon and back but not trusting science to develop safe vaccines.
Every single one of the astronauts who went to the moon and back on Artemis II was educated at a public school.
Thinking of the teachers who poured into Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen tonight. You helped send a kid to the moon!

1 Iran has two navies; only one—the far smaller one—was destroyed.
2. Half of Iran's launchers are intact.
3. Iran held back its small air force—it wasn't destroyed.
4 There's been no impact on Iran's nuclear capabilities.
5. Only 0.3% of Iran's army was neutralized.
6 The Strait is closed.
Long-wavelength radio astronomy is some of the only science that would get a major benefit from being on the lunar far side. The Moon blocks radio noise from the Earth & presents the possibility of ground-based astronomy with no atmospheric interference. (Of course there are many other challenges!)
So trump filled his cabinet with sychophants who lifted their faces off the floor a few inches to tell him war with Iran was a dumb idea and he ignored them because he’s never faced a consequence in his entire life www.nytimes.com/2026/04/07/u...
"Even if you produce more oil than you consume, you still pay the same global price for oil everyone else pays & thus still suffer from supply constrictions & high prices."
This basic, elementary fact -- global energy markets 101 -- refutes basically the entire GOP energy policy & worldview.
Yes yes yes
Since the end of Roe, Republicans have been systematically burying maternal death reports and dismantling the committees that put them together.

I'm sorry, is this a sitting US Republican Governor saying that he has INSIDE information from a Supreme Court Justice about a case before the court to ensure political capitalization off the case?
It sure sounds like it...
Well, at least now, when we tell people that the U.S. is currently run by a group chat of white men techbros, political figures, and billionaires, we'll be able to show them this example....
