this whole thread resonated very much with me, i have been having the same feels on the other side of the fence in PR haha... i'm lucky to be in a workplace where AI isn't forced down my throat yet but in general working in media just doesn't feel great any more for various industry reasons :(((

maybe it is just unfortunate juxtaposition cos i watched the movie and loved it then immediately picked up the book. i feel like Ryan Gosling made Grace so likeable in the movie but i find his voice in the book and the writing style really unengaging in comparison

i'm nearing the end of Project Hail Mary (the book) and i feel like this is the first time i've read a book that is so very clearly better as a movie (at least in my opinion)
