I remember a conversation with a good friend, he described how being in your 50s makes you think more about “the end”.
I didn’t understand at the time, but I do now. He passed away when he was 6 years older than I am now.

About halfway through re-decorating our family room (better described as the TV/scruffy room).

I’ve been on stage acting/singing in a musical the last 3 evenings so very welcome having a lazy start!
I think maybe it’s because we have dogs and cats (and rabbits). Carpet can be washed but can never be totally cleaned.
We also consider the house like an extension of the garden with doors open all day long.
But it would be boring if we were all the same.
We are currently having the ancient laminate replaced with tiles in the family room.
Laminate is only slightly better than carpets.
Carpets are just stupid. One of those weird British things that makes no sense to me!

It’s becoming a genuinely useful productivity application. It scratches an itch in my day to day job.

Gotta be honest, the America I love is the one that puts people on the moon (or around it).
There aren’t many countries that can afford to it.
I wish they did more of that than spend it on weapons for war (not defence).
Always the official start of spring in our house when this tree blooms. Same time as last year but 10 days earlier than in 2023.
