The University of Sheffield's iconic Arts Tower building was opened by the Queen Mother in 1966.
It has lots of noticeboard space in the chilly basement cafe.
The fabulous paternoster lift wasn't working that day.

The University of Sheffield's Department of Music is in a former Victorian hospital on Leavygreave Road, the Jessop building. So tall and so full of music!

Sheffield has a town centre pedestrianised high street called The Moor.
There's a well known supermarket there which features a community noticeboard. A nice touch I think.

Continuing my tour of Sheffield record shops this week I reached HMV High Street on the rainiest day of the week.
