Scud is a marvel of game design around peripherals. If you had the light gun for the Saturn, Scud was an on rails shooter. But if you plugged in a controller it was a 2-D platformer. You got 2 games essentially on 1 disc. Icing on the cake? The disc would play the Scud soundtrack in any cd player!

The less well-known of the two Scud games, PC title Scud: Industrial Evolution got this funky 1997 U.S. magazine ad.
