It's misleading to say that "refunds are more" when none of the reporting shows WHO those larger refunds are going to. We know that the tax cuts have been mostly for high earners. What percentage of those "higher refunds" are going to people who earn more than $1m?

Growing up in California I remember Smog Days, where schools were closed because the air was too dangerous to breathe. The distant mountains used to be invisible to us, constantly obscured by a brown cloud of pollution from cars & industrial smoke
