2006.

"Bowing to public pressure at home and opposition in Ottawa, Alberta has shelved its controversial health-care reforms that would have allowed doctors to collect paycheques in both the private and public systems and patients to buy private insurance."

I didn't get a final rebuttal, but I do want to point out the irony of a consultant think-tank shadow bureaucrat, who hasn't been in our hospitals or provided direct pt care, suggesting we are "already prioritizing" life threatening conditions!

Critical Atlantic current significantly more likely to collapse than thought Scientists say finding is ‘very concerning’ as collapse would be catastrophic for Europe, Africa and the Americas

The collapse of the gulf stream will be catastrophic for the entire planet. The crisis in the earth's circulation system continues to be ignored while politicians promote massive oil/gas expansion.
We are killing our children's future.

Pattern? Justice Minister Mickey Amery limited an Elections Alberta investigation related to Sam Mraiche. The UCP refused to extend the term of Auditor General Doug Wylie who is investigating Mraiche. UCP also refused to fully cooperate with Wylie, and the inquiry of former Judge Raymond Wyant.

Alberta's irrigators make case for major expansion plans | CBC News After warm weather filled Alberta's irrigation reservoirs this winter, managers are stressing the need for expansion to secure water supply for farms in the future.

This sounds like a no-brainer, but ..

"The Alberta Wilderness Association has raised concerns with the expansion plans they say would alter river ecosystems and potentially lead to more intensive farming on unbroken pasture and grassland."

Water.

"Alberta is willing to work with proponents to make the process “super easy, super simple, super-fast,” Glubish added.

“We’ll connect you to the gas provider. We’ll pinch through the fibre. We’ll help you navigate your water licences. Whatever it is you need, we’ll help you with that.”"

How far-right groups brought the culture war to Alberta schools | Xtra Magazine Many of the most vocal groups in developing Alberta’s school policies have no affiliation to kids or the education system

The Alberta government is now considering some level of book restrictions in public libraries, not just schools. And once again they are taking aim at LGBTQ2S+ books.

Don't forget where this focus came from.

It was never actually about "concerned parents."

But maybe we ought to be skeptical, at the same time.

For someone interested in preventing foreign interference, Premier Smith has done little to this point to prevent it.

In fact, by loosening campaign finance laws, she has made it easier for foreign dark money to flow into Alberta politics.

Context. Danielle wants national-security clearance from CSIS.

She lacks discernment, in the best interests of Alberta and Canada this should be declined. Sam Mraiche might disagree.

A personal friend of Mickey Amery? A relative of Sam Mraiche? Maybe a nephew. Might get a good reference from Marshall Smith.
