I had the pleasure of playtesting Scrubbin Trubble's co-op with a friend.
The way they've done cooperative turn-based action is *fascinating*: players move independently until they're in combat range with the same enemies. Then the game switches to an immaculately-telegraphed lockstep combat mode.
