The only good thing I have found about this is that the “sharing” setting is defaulted to Off (for now).

If they don’t, turn OFF location services for the app. There should also be a setting for those apps you need location services turned on, to “not give the app your EXACT location” that is appropriate for some apps. 🤪

If you have concerns, there is a setting on your phone that controls whether an app has access to your location. You should probably take some time and ponder which apps even *need* that for what you use the app to do.

Instagram is now mapping your location. They have introduced “Instagram Map” which by default will map your location. If you don’t have a problem with one more social media company collecting data that can be stolen in a breach, then you can ignore this post. (Continued in comments)

If you have a Brother printer of any type that is connected to WiFi or Ethernet, there is probably a firmware update you need to apply. Also, change the default password.
