Glad to be a @limitbreak.co.uk mentor again this year! Has been so rewarding seeing what my previous mentees get up to and can't wait to support some new folks this year 😄

As well as the chance to change up some of my marketing tactics to keep them sharp. With such an amazing team and indies onboard, I can't wait to get embedded properly and see what emotionally raw, genre-defying games we can beam directly into your eyeballs soon

Have been admiring their work from afar, and now I get to offer up my nerdy love for process and marketing operations to support their further ascensions and create more space for unbridled creativity. Returning to the indie side is a delight I'm sure to savour

An offer and offerings. A metamorphosis. Heeding a call to return to the wild dark. A seat accepted to craft rituals that amass eyeballs and guide potential followers to visions so unexpected new myths are formed.

Am thrilled to share I've joined CRITICAL REFLEX as Head of Marketing

The Dinotopia books oil painted illustrations by James Gurney are so lovingly packed with world building. I still yearn for a dino rpg that isn’t just fighting. Or a Skybax rider game

I've worked with Jamie quite a bit at this point and would vouch for him wholeheartedly

And when you’re still without a full time role since 2023 it feels like being at the bottom of the pit

But at the same time, a lot of those opportunities in 2023 were just studios who hadn’t done layoffs yet but would soon after 🤷‍♀️ Grim out there. Glad there are still so many people trying to help

Awful to hear of even more Epic layoffs. It’s been a rough road since the first one in 2023 that I still very much feel the emotional and financial affects of

If there’s anyone UK/Europe side affected in marketing or brand let me know, have heard of a few positions open atm

I don't think the stock market is good for the games industry.

This is a great list! And to get comfortable talking about your game so that you can easily communicate:
- what your game is (genre, what you do in the game/action words)
- what makes it different from other games and/or why you enjoy playing it (mechanic, atmosphere, story experience etc)

Women in the games industry already have to put up with a lot, but we shouldn’t have to do it alone. Men in the industry: if you see one of your fellow men doing behaving this way towards a woman at a professional conference, please speak up and tell them to CUT IT OUT.

I hope things in our industry change for the better in the future. I will not allow anyone to feel this way again.
