What features do you expect from a 'we want to make sure this script is worth future time and effort' build?
I want readers on this script, now, but we don't even have all of our sprites done.

My wonderful co-author, Marcus, is sprinting through our early script for any ̶D̶e̶f̶a̶m̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶C̶h̶a̶r̶a̶c̶t̶e̶r̶, I mean 'places that need adjusting,' and I have an amazing sprite/background artist getting me the bare min on sprites. A sample build will be going out to Alpha Readers sometime in January.
The first build's script is done, as is build 2, but my husband lost his job and my income doesn't meet our bills, so I am in limbo with getting sprites commissioned.
Once I have sprites, then I will have beta readers okay with the posterfied backgrounds and fair use music to review script.

Do Ungulates in a furry world wear shoes?
I try to talk a good bit about fashion in my story, but I was writing a scene between a deer and a bull about shoe etiquette, and it's hard for me to imagine either of them wearing them.

History is default, as is Skip. I tinkered with text_cps and am better labelling our choice menus.
I honestly hate the defaults, but there's only so much I can do at Alpha stage. I want my alpha readers to see the story, then they can help me decide how much time/money to put into visuals.
Once I have music, that is something I will be doing, since at least some of it will be made by a member of my pack.
