You’ll need a valid Georgia driver’s license or state ID card!
Visit Georgia’s official online voter registration portal at mvp.sos.ga.gov/
Fill out the required info, submit the form, and tada! You’re done!
Tip: Even if you register online, always confirm your status later at the same link to ensure your registration was processed and you’re listed as active!
Registering to vote by mail
Download & complete the Georgia Voter Registration Application from mvp.sos.ga.gov/
Sign and date the form.
Mail to the address listed on the application.
Postmark by the 5th Monday before Election Day!

Registering to vote in-person
Where to register:
County voter registration office or board of registrars
GA Department of Driver Services (during driver’s license/ID updates)
Some public libraries, schools, or assistance offices

After you register
You should receive a precinct card in the mail within 3–4 weeks.
If you don’t get it, or if you’ve moved or changed your name, check your info at mvp.sos.ga.gov/
