Today I met Lauretta Boston at the Festival of St Cecilia. She’s a talented pianist and singer and her story runs like a movie. At 102 she still plays the piano and in the 50s sang to audiences that included Sinatra, Armstrong and Martin. I wanted to talk to her for hours. Look her up.

88 years old today. Not sure if the stunned look is because of his age or if he’s worried about my mother and what’s in front of her … Happy Birthday, Dad 🥳

Standing ovation for Dear Evan Hansen in Liverpool this week. Equally as good as the West End cast. Evan and his Mum were the stand outs for me. Flying solo and soaring.
