Yesterday, we had 75 kids show up 4 a 🎞️-viewing of Frankenstein in our beautiful school theatre. I put it 2 my sts & 30 of them came 2 watch. Took a wee bit of work but so worth it. Leadership kids made 🍿 4 them. The kids clapped @ the end. It was kind of awesome. And folks say kids don’t engage.
Everything’s relative 😂
Super cool to see you fixing up those timepieces. Good for the environment and makes the world a bit more stylish ❤️
Great orange. And it’s a clean, big face. Love it!
Mysteries, Yes By Mary Oliver Truly, we live with mysteries too marvelous to be understood. How grass can be nourishing in the mouths of the lambs. How rivers and stones are forever in allegiance with gravity while we ourselves dream of rising. How two hands touch and the bonds will never be broken. How people come, from delight or the scars of damage, to the comfort of a poem. Let me keep my distance, always, from those who think they have the answers. Let me keep company always with those who say "Look!" and laugh in astonishment, and bow their heads.
Mysteries, Yes ~ Mary Oliver

Tommy Shelby. How can a human carry on like that w that life? It is both what breaks & builds him. Cillian Murphy is a bloody brilliant actor. Every line, look, breath & movement means something & feels so real.

This is kind of beautiful.
Hegseth. Patel. RFK Jr. Rubio. Miller. All men. All men who have done profound damage to the files & positions they hold. Embarrassingly so. And, yet, it’s the women fired/pushed out.
The latter one may be a little less inept, but I am going to truly enjoy the day that he’s removed because he’s 🤢
@ his 7th bday party, nephew was talking w the adults, describing new games he’s heard about. 1’s about 🌲s that draw u in/keep defeating u w/out ur ability 2 win. He said, it’s about rage-baiting, Tia. I asked what that meant & he says, ‘It’s drawing the player into the rage.’ He gets politics at 7.
Wow. The artists are doing protest again. Love to see it.
Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.
Watch with sound on.
People should read.
I'm tired of people not reading.
Please, if you can, PLEASE, read! Read everything, but especially fiction! Read comics!
It will help you with empathy AND make you smarter.
Please, read.

A tweet from Pope Leo XIV that reads: “When simulation becomes the norm, it weakens the human capacity for discernment. As a result, our social bonds close in upon themselves, forming self-referential circuits that no longer expose us to reality. We thus come to live within bubbles, impermeable to one another. Feeling threatened by anyone who is different, we grow unaccustomed to encounter and dialogue. In this way, polarization, conflict, fear and violence spread. What is at stake is not merely the risk of error, but a transformation in our very relationship with truth.”
Apparently the Pope has read Baudrillard.
We are so concerned with doing life that we forget to live it.
I don’t think we talk nearly enough about the fact that corporations like Amazon, don’t pay a single cent to maintain the roads they use, the transportation system they use, the courts they use, they pay nothing for the infrastructure that is absolutely critical to their business.
WE Pay for
It’s called climate change.
We really do need to remember good, beautiful things. Remember what matters. Children. Diversity. Collectivity. Acceptance. Being seen. Learning. Joy. That is what makes this world wonderful.
Kids are the BEST.

My mood…
Fiction and film are freakishly foreshadowing.
Seeing reports about the Disney gutting of Marvel Studios creative people. And saw that some of the Studio is being moved overseas. That’s so patriotic of Disney! Yeah?
Eggs.
Get a coffee.

Food banks are not part of a safety net. they are proof we do not have a safety net.
Yeah, olive oil and cheese and pastries can make you a little fat. Yeah, sunshine gives you wrinkles and wine ruins your liver and spending money on pretty things eats up your savings. But unfortunately, I've decided to enjoy life anyways
Started watching the Pitt recently. So amazing.
But it also was striking to see like, only one popular show that seems to actually address things like COVID, mass shootings, houselessness, opioid epidemic etc.
Our media really does for the most part play on escapism and erasure.
We all deserve more ease. That's really it.
Baltimore is not playing around with their street art. Straight to the point.
B-more is not a game. Don't play with that city, remember...Tupac's mom left Baltimore for the projects...for a better life.
