MomoCon 2026 AFK Room Volunteer Form Thank you for your interest in helping Take This bring back the AFK Room to MomoCon in 2026. Please note that as of 2026, Take This will no longer be running the Hope Booth at MomoCon, so we are only seeking volunteers for the AFK Quiet Room. Reminder: Signing up to volunteer, even if you have volunteered with us in the past, does not guarantee you a volunteer position at the convention. Please Note: As of January 16, 2024, Take This requires that all on-shift volunteers wear a mask. As masking is an essential requirement of the role, masks will be provided to all volunteers. If you are selected as a volunteer but unable to mask, we will work collaboratively with you to find an alternate volunteering role that does not require face to face interaction and which aligns with your support needs and the needs of the organization. Many attendees have come to rely on the AFK Room and Hope Booth as parts of their experience at major cons. The AFK Room helps people keep or regain their sense of calm during this long, busy weekend, and the Hope Booth answers questions about the organization and also accepts donations. We rely on our volunteers to make the AFK Room and Hope Booth happen! In exchange for your volunteer time, you will receive a day pass to the event. Volunteers must be eligible for a minimum of two shifts. You do not need to be a licensed clinician or have clinical experience in order to volunteer, but licensed clinicians will be given priority placement in the AFK room.
