Over Chris' shoulder', BBC news sometimes broadcast from outside Westminster, I'm always fascinated by the passing traffic in the background, in the twilight the passing traffic looks like a flowing river of light. #acrylics #painting #lights #gleaming #flowing
Staffordshire's ceramics industry misses out on the Government's energy support, the following is a link to a petition demanding support...

That flat cup's a saucer Ian, had a flash back of my grandad sometimes drinking tea from the saucer, I don't know why he did that, maybe the hot tea cools quicker?

It's been decided; Victoria Mill is closing at the end of this month after being sold to developers.
It had an interesting history; a former silk ribbon weaving mill since 1857 .. an Antique Centre for the last 30 : www.victoriamillantiques.co.uk/history/

An incredible day! A gallery full of people all day long in a constant flow. People from these very streets telling their stories and remembering all the friends and family they shared them with. Street names; pubs, jobs, significant things all shared. A Summer of events in the making..
Come along!
Good to see you too Ian
Nice exhibition with really great pieces, pop into Two Doors Studio, Alsager, to see Ian Pearsall's latest exhibition. @ianrpearsall.bsky.social #art #exhibition

Train travel fits my 'Modus Vivendi' and the best part of getting to the gallery is slicing through the post-industrial urbanscape of my inspiration, passing the tragic wreckage of these beautiful buildings on the way ..

Making tracks in
transient dreams,
listening to the beating
heart of the land
swell in pride
to a
concerto
through beech
and
fallen oak
In awe we are...
Nature's eminence commanding awe
Lost in splendour
evermore...
