Main news in the city is the pace of the lift shaft pour at Railyard apartments. The slip form is progressing more than 2 floors every 24 hours. So these photos from a follower from Friday is already superseded by events.

Week ending 07/03/26: #CorkCraneCount: 21. No change. Superseded by the monster crane last week, news of a Cork City Council consultation recently opened for apartments on a particularly egregious derelict site in Gurranabraher. Delighted to see a proposal for apartments here.

Thanks to two followers for photos showing the Kinsale Road crane was completed today.
20 cranes shares the record high since I began this account, though I’m told there was a higher total in the past. Indisputably, we’ll have a record of some sort next weekend, with the crane for the tallest building on the island of Ireland due to be erected.
