Trump on NATO: "If the United States was in trouble and we called them. We said, 'We got a problem, France.' Do you think they're gonna come and protect us? Hmm. They're supposed to. I'm not so sure." (Literally the only time NATO Article 5 was invoked was after 9/11 on behalf of the US.)

I just told Speaker Hoyle to keep Trump out of Parliament - will you do the same? actionstorm.org/petitions/du... #DumpTrump

I'm starting this thread to document as many awful things Trump and his cronies are doing with links - as well as examples of those standing up to hate.
I'll keep updating in the comments as an easy reference point for myself and others. Starting with...

As we approach #FollowBackFriday, we should remember that the aim of the #FBPE movement is closer integration with Europe.
So if you are #ProEU, then I want to follow you.
It will take time, we must be patient, but we have lost so much.

Absolutely this from Ed Davey 👏
I grew up in a village where the bells rang on the hour, every hour. They rang every Sunday, for weddings, funerals, and practice twice a week. I loved it.
Happy New Year! I saw in midnight singing to a bunch of happy people. What did you do at midnight? #newyearseve #newyear #newyear2025
It was indeed.
@carlevecrime.bsky.social North Road West cordoned off between Patna Place and Melbourne Street from 6.30 this morning, fire engines, police and ambulance. Now a single address taped off, police guard and forensics van. Any clue what's happening?

Sorcerer: ‘What about my him?’
Paladin: ‘He keeps ‘flashing’ his nuts at me!’
Sorcerer: ‘If there are any ‘nuts’ on display here—then it’s you…’

We're all okay - just tired!! I don't think I slept more than 3 hours total afterwards. Fully expecting the police to ask for footage. When I reviewed it, I realised that she'd come far closer to actually pushing her way in than I remembered.
11/11 Maybe I'm overthinking things. Maybe I'm being too suspicious. Thoughts on the entire thing? Anyone else had anything like this happen, especially in the UK? It's made me a little nervous, to be honest, and we'll be making sure our doors are fully locked, even when we're in
10/11 The fact that she fled as soon as I called the police, however, is a MASSIVE red flag. Fortunately, the entire exchange was caught on our doorbell camera, with audio, and is available to the police should they require it.
9/11 However, waking people up in the middle of the night, aggressively demanding to search their house isn't helpful at all.
8/11 Firstly, if this poor woman genuinely has a missing daughter, she has all my sympathy, and I completely understand wanting to get to the bottom of where she is. I'd have moved heaven and earth had my son gone missing.
7/11 The operator I was on the phone to confirmed that there was also someone else on a call to the woman who had just left our property, and we gave the details of the taxi she got into.
6/11 Within seconds, 2 taxis pulled up on the pavement outside the house, and the woman ran down the path and jumped into one of them, driving off - at speed - immediately.
5/11 The woman at the door also called the police, shouting at the poor operator, almost unintelligibly, that she knew we were hiding her daughter inside. The hubby came back out, not having called the police at all, so I took the phone from him, and called 999.
