If Farkas actually wants this to succeed, council is going to completely change it approach to transit. They’re going to have increase transit funding massively instead of the nickel and dime approach to transit we currently have.
They going to actually provide a service not what we have now.

There is a glimmer of hope. The attached is from a Ward 4 Newsletter email out by DJ Kelly on April 10th.

Same thing yesterday afternoon in Dalhousie, Calgary.
One fellow had a long discussion with one of the signature collectors. Didn't look like she was too happy with what he had to say, they left shortly thereafter.

America has not been our friend for many, many years.
One example of that is softwood lumber. They negotiate a deal then fail to honor it time after time, after time. They even go as far as the world court and they lose every time.
There are numerous other examples, it's all about them.

Dipshit gives the impressions he's just an idiot or a fool. He is neither of those thing he is one of the lowest forms of life.
Remove the dip and you're a lot closer to describing him.

Just when you think this Government couldn’t go any lower, they prove you wrong every single time. 🤬🤬🤬

Danielle Smith: I approve this message. 🙄

Most Albertans: Not a chance in hell!

Well, I guess now we know it was non-binding. 🙄

If you are talking about Alberta it's pointless. Smith only listens to her base.

It's quite surprising there appear to be no guard rails on healthcare.
The federal government doles out the money and the provinces can do what they want with it. They don't even have to spend it on healthcare.
Does that make sense to anyone?
It sure as hell doesn't make any sense to me.

Closer to 25-30% aggrieved and the other 70-75% incensed that the 25-30% are in control of our government.

If I'm understanding correctly, changing the health act would require the support of a majority of the premiers.

Good luck getting that to happen in today's political landscape.

Do something about it.

Rather than just being open to the idea, he needs to get on his horse and damned well do so about it.
We are long past time for needing guard rails in Alberta and Ontario, seriously long past.

Excellent question. In defence of those who originally set up the Health Act, I don’t think anyone at the time ever thought someone like Smith would come along to destroy it. I just don’t think it even entered their heads.

Same thing here in Alberta. Some ridings would vote for a fence post if it was painted blue and identified as Conservative. SMH.

I understand all that. I’m just surprised and disappointed that there doesn’t appear to be any other means to stop premiers dismantling the system in their province.
I do completely understand that when universal healthcare was set up nobody foresaw premiers like Smith, Ford and others.

No offence intended here but if the PM or the federal government can’t do anything who in hell is supposed police and protect the healthcare systems across the country.

Thank you. As I said earlier my cardiologist and I make a good team, he has taken excellent care of me. I will really miss him when he retires.

First bypass surgery Oct. 1996 aged 49.
Three angioplasties and another bypass in the intervening years. 🙂
Surprisingly I’ve never had a heart attack.

For god’s sake #Carney and the #Liberalcaucus do something about this.

Conor McGregor is a UFC fighter.
It's possible he plays hockey too but not at the NHL level. 🙂

My cardiologist told me in late March he is retiring in May or June next year. We've been a team for 29 years, I will miss him.
He did say he'll make sure I'm assigned to who he considers the best fit in their practice.

Bottom line, he doesn't give a damn as long as the market is up.

90 minute drive, that would be a no.
I'm very lucky my doctor is in a clinic which uses secure email, I email my refill request and they just get another GP to sign off on my prescription refills if my GP is away.

Ask your regular pharmacist for a refill or at least enough to last you until your doctor comes back.
Pharmacists are allowed to prescribe now.

This should be THE ONE STEP TOO FAR!
Come on Alberta it’s time to hit the streets.
