I thought I would say something funny or quirky today, for the one day that my opacity is set to 100, but I couldn't think of anything...

Finally gave into my demons and decided to jump into the deep end and play FF14 for the first time ever. All was going well until I needed a surname for my character. I'm officially ruined. I have never once considered a surname for any character I've made

The next best run I have is Portable 3rd Any%, but my confidence in that run can be 100% on some days and on others Qurupeco can have my number and slide in my reset button's DMs with a clean max accuracy. I don't think it's a marathon safe game. I've really enjoyed the 2 I've done so far though

I feel like I should apply to more speedrunning events. I used to not bother because my main confidence run was Freedom Unite Any% which runs up to 3 hours and that's a big chunk to take out of an event. Castlevania 64 helps cut down my demanding time, but comes with the debuff of it being unpopular

I got some inspiration today and wrote out a list of goals for this year and the next. When I get Reinhardt WR on console it won't end there. I've fully committed in my mind to tackle the Carrie side of things too and go for the full leaderboard sweep.

Afterwards I'll revisit my speedrunning demon.

Mashing on an N64 controller for CV64 speedruns has revealed a new issue to me in the form of intense thumb pain
I have a messed up thumb knuckle in that it sinks into my hand with enough pressure and over time it really hurts when done a lot
Weird that this isn't an issue with any other controller

Also it might be a huge hope and cope moment, but I'm gonna put my tinfoil hat on for a moment. Season 1 has Akuma, Season 2 Dictator, now Season 3 Sagat. Could it be that Season 4 will have Claw? Going in reverse order of the bosses in SF2 completing the World Warriors

SF6 Sagat is looking way too nice. I'm excited!
From what I've seen in the CPU footage coming out, he does a lot of damage, and some of his combos remind me of SF4
I hope his "Jinrai style" move isn't too strong. I want him to be zoning focused, but SF6 mechanics might naturally make him aggressive

Would have been my new Mega Man Glitchless PB, but I unfortunately duped a rock during bubble boss. Looks like I'll have to go for Sub 25 instead

Recently been streaming a Freedom Unite 1HP Perma Death Challenge on Youtube and Twitch. The most difficult, stressful and anxiety inducing challenge I've done... but it's fun. 13 deaths so far to all those gremlins icon'ed at the bottom of the screen

Once I'm done with my personal goals and achieved what I want to achieve I'll be done with Monster Hunter speedrunning. It'll be a rough transition to make in the future, but I made my mind up a long time ago. Luckily though, as long as RNG keeps slowly down you'll keep me on the MH arc :P

Arkthunder, Udon and Kanata are my Monster Hunter speedrunning inspirations, they've shown me ways to play that I never could have thought of and I wouldn't be at the level I am without them. They're awesome and deserve all their flowers. They keep me in the scene even when I feel like quitting.
