At a local by-election last year I had numerous copies of their flyer promising to cut taxes. Thankfully the majority didn’t fall for their lies so they lost. Farage has no shame in denying what we can see in front of us.

I take your point and there are many aspects that aren’t working and solving one can make another worse. Reducing payments now will make the debts grow even faster. Debts are unsustainable and if we ease the burden now people can have better lives and prospects now, not waiting to write off debts.

The crazy part of student loans is that we will eventually write off the debt. If we reduced the debt burden now we help the graduates immediately and they have a better chance of paying off the loan.

Just to be pedantic, Reform isn’t a PLC because it would then be publicly accountable. It’s a private limited company controlled by one person, Farage. I don’t believe he would want more work but less money so I suspect he will sell the company at some stage possibly to vested interests abroad.
