Investment has focused on tourism facilities rather than construction, tying the economy more to foreign-controlled tourism. There’s been little effort to improve the production environment. I doubt we’ll see sustained growth.

And as a Spaniard I am little convinced that we will find the right way to see those investments revert into sustainable growth for our economy

I can’t speak for Germany. However I can say: lots of that Spanish growth comes from de-regulated wealthy foreign investment into the housing market, making it impossible for locals to live in their cities, plus over time the money of those investments will be gone to those foreign pockets.
