These people are telling on themselves of how incompetent they are. Obama\Biden performed 3.1 million deportations over 8 years. Say what you will about who the targeted, but they followed the law and deported people here illegally - unlike would-be King Don.

The real "political theater" and "feel-good" votes are Dems telling us that "training" and "cameras" was a real concession. They've already murdered people on camera while calling them a ducking ditch and then lied about it - that's policy, not training.
"What you’re describing can only be done with a 2/3 majority" What have I described that would require 2/3 majority? Refuse to allocate any more funds to ICE without changes. Make a fight of it.
What is the meltdown here? Exercising democracy with a primary? What is Disinformation here? Counting the votes and pointing out that Democrats could have stopped this bill if all 7 had stuck with their fellow Dems? And most importantly, what is your alternative?

It would be nice if we could get Democrats to fight for something that isn't a sure thing. If you only fight when you know you can win, you cede a lot of fights to the other side. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

I will work my ass off to get Dems elected. But a message has to be sent. These 7 will not get a minute or dime from me. In fact 3 of them I would support a primary challenger.
Less funding is not the goal. Accountability is. And if we can't get that. Then don't fund DHS. That "flat" funding is still another 10 billion. They don't need it

First of all, it would not have been another shutdown, it would only be partial. Second, this bill handed them another 10 billion that's hardly status quo.
But if you think an extra camera angle will somehow help as ICE shoots you and your family, then by all means, hang onto this "victory"
Not all Dems. Just the 7 I called out. They are trying to pretend to be doing something. When in reality they are collaborating. Training and body cams aren't going to help. They are already on film killing a woman and they are proud of it, not ashamed. They accomplished nothing.
Because they are more afraid of being called "soft on crime" than being called "fascist collaborator". Politicians respond to voters. Let's make it clear collaborating is not the easy path they think it is.
This was a vote ONLY for Department of Homeland Security funding. We would've been just fine.
This vote was 220 to 207. If those 7 Dems had flipped and voted No, the vote would have failed.
To motivate activists and voters, you have to show you're willing to fight. This vote was demotivating and hurt our chances in November.
