The First Minister talks prevention, but the Edinburgh Integration Join Board faces cuts to vital services like the Stafford Centre.

Can we truly achieve prevention while IJBs are in financial crisis?

It was fantastic to be out today with Davy Russell and our dedicated team in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse.

Voters here, as right across Scotland, are calling for a new direction after 18 years of broken promises from the SNP, and that starts with @scottishlabour.bsky.social.

Meeting with staff & students from Queen Margaret University's Nursing & Midwifery Programme was a delight this morning with @chrismurraymp.bsky.social.

We discussed the urgent need for increased support for nurses & midwives, especially with the rising cost of living.

Let's champion their cause!

For 18 years the SNP have promised much but delivered little.

In Lothian:
📍East Calder still awaits a health centre after 10 years
📍Adult access to diabetes tech faces a 6-year delay
📍Initial assessments from CAMHS take over 3 years

If change was on the agenda, it would have happened.

Happy to visit Warmworks.

Their work is based around people, managing their energy costs by improving the energy efficiency of their home.

They have a plan to be completely net zero by the end of 2025. Their work is transformative in terms of heat and energy for Scotland.

Spent the afternoon in Livingston with Gregor Poynton MP, Councillors, and community members at East Calder Health Centre, seeing firsthand the unacceptable condition of the building and the urgent need for funding from the Scottish Government to plan and build a new health centre.

Started this week by meeting with @bloodcancer_uk to hear about the work they’re doing to support people with blood cancer in Scotland.

Too many people are still dying from blood cancer. This has to change.

I'll continue working closely with them to raise awareness.

Delighted to welcome my daughter, Madiha Choudhury and her friends to the Scottish Parliament from Edinburgh University as they addressed a constituent’s concern. Seeing young people passionately advocate for change fills me with pride. A powerful reminder of compassion and action in public service.
