Coming back from a fantastic few days exploring Belgium. Got a pal doing his PhD at KU Leuven, so took the opportunity to explore the surrounding cities and Christmas markets! 🎄🧇

Visited Gent, Leuven, Bruges and Brussels, not bad for my first trip to Belgium.

Scotland qualified for their first World Cup in 28 years! (I was a mere toddler last time so have zero memories).

Working closely with the Matter Editor in Chief (Steve Cranford), the new Deputy Editor will have the unique opportunity to shape a prominent and vibrant journal, that also fits cohesively into the Matter and Cell Press journal portfolio.

Matter & Light by Cell Press aims to better serve researchers working at the materials/light interface (including photovoltaics, photocatalysis, photonics, luminescent and related materials).

We are seeking a Deputy Editor to help drive the launch of the journal and catalyse its development.
