Play this game. It is very weird and some parts are dumb and frustrating but it only takes about four hours to finish and I can promise that you’ve never played anything quite like it.

Well, the idea of a landing zone foul is that the defender is not allowed to come up under a shooter before he lands. McDaniels was well inside the 3 point line, and therefore not in Murray’s landing zone. Murray landed on his foot anyway because he jumped forward so far making a mockery of the rule

That first landing zone foul was completely ridiculous. He jumped forward 2 feet! And most of the rest were maybe fouls by the letter of the law but weak for the playoffs and not similarly rewarded on the other end.

I don’t even think of “effort” when I think of Brown though… like I said I think White is their secret sauce and he embodies that a lot better. I agree in wishing Ant and the wolves had better coaching/culture but I do think you over attribute everything to effort

I would say that it’s more true that what the Celtics have is special and unique than that every other team in the league should be criticized for not having it. Also Brown is pretty objectively worse than Ant so I wouldn’t pine over him so much.

To clarify:
1. I think Tatum is a good player but not a top 10 player or the reason the Celtics are good
2. He seems like a decent, albeit corny person
3. I think Derrick White and their system/coaching is the secret sauce to their success and I feel pretty vindicated about that
