200,000 acres of Native Hawaiian land. 100 years of federal trust obligation.
Trump's move: reclassify them as a racial group, not a tribal nation. Same land. New legal category. Zero obligation.
That's not a budget cut. That's a legal erasure. #taxtherich

a hot air balloon resting on the ground in some affluent white family's backyard
Wtf do you mean, somehow? It isn't Sheev Palpatine returning from the dead. The hot air balloon was in the air. And then it descended. To the ground.
Kash’s fbi cant solve an actual crime and somehow theyre gonna solve a fake one
a multi-limbed, chitinous alien from the species known as the Jinsul. They have pale skin, a blaster in one of their arms, and are casting a spell between two other arms. Yes they have a lot of arms. Around their nect they have scarves w/ alien text about them
ANYWAY, this week's session they sliced open a door w/ a plasma doshko and immediately went into combat w/ a captured Jinsul Pontiff. Bc of their current level I made them elite and I blooded the Solarian and dropped the Operative by the end of the fight. And they press on towards more clues.
They are now clearing out an "abandoned" colossi tracking outpost where the clues have directed.
I realize I'm leaving out a lot and feel like I'm just no good at this social media shit lol. What to include in this summary and what's pointless. Sigh. Still not over brain block stuff re: ttrpgs
a grizzled, gray skinned human with white hair and an eyepatch over their right eye with their name at the bottom of Luku Gaiul
The party investigates this new crime scene and find clues pointing to either Castrovel or Daimalko. Crit succeeded the Nature check bypasses the red herring of Castrovel entirely and they head straight to the colossi planet. Where they encounter THIS guy and fight 2-headed griffons in their search.
Making it back to the Pact Worlds and giving up on the mausoleum ship, it is tracked down by the Stewards where their scans find the genetic material of someone that's supposed to be serving a life sentence several systems away on Daegox-4, so the Lead Investigator reaches out to our party...
Eventually AJ's absence is noticed and supplies dwindle, so FJ heads out and gathers their own stuff for awhile. After hitting a Kalistrocat mausoleum ship for an easy credit, they find pirating isn't always that easy. And they run into a Jinsul scouting party in space and barely make it out.
So AJ is sentenced by the Stewards and is later transferred to Daegox-4 where they wait for FJ to come rescue them. And then time passes. And AJ has become a happy fungal farmer to the now-freed prisoners of Daegox ever since the planet's containment went to hell after the birth of the Newborn.
The Witchwarper hunted down the killer and brought them to justice.
BUT WAIT. THIS Joro is ACTUALLY AJ- Acolyte Joro, the "blank slate" given to FJ who had clearly trained to do supply runs while FJ focused on the cloning process. But AJ doesn't give up FJ. They are in service to greatness.
While FJ was establishing the infrastructure for their -to them- noble quest, they ran afoul of the Stewards who sent out our party's Witchwarper and his partner to bring them in, but FJ gave them the slip and laid low for a while. The Warper and partner kept searching, til the partner was killed.
So FJ infiltrated Salvation's End and "met" the guiding intelligence of the facilitiy and earned themselves some mothballed cloning tech and a blank slate body on ice the intelligence kept for clerical reasons.
The party won't know any of this until they can hack FJ's super locked personal logs.
FJ never got to see the peace that was just over the horizon in their verse, so in their single-mindedness, FJ is going to stop THAT war HERE before it even begins. But to do that they'll have to amass a hoard of credits and tech that is very difficult to attain. Like the tech that breeds Joros...
This one is one of the few remaining survivors, and has found themselves in this universe. They are FJ- Final Joro. And they are continuing their crusade against the Jinsul by getting materiel from Salvation's End to jump start trooper production for the inevitable incursion around the corner.
I'll tell you lot what I can't tell them, bc I have time and I'm excited. So the Witchwarper's partner was killed by a Joro from an alternate universe where the Jinsul invaded and conquered the Pact Worlds. In this verse, Joro were bred for clone troopers(bc I'm original af boiii).
'A Joro Most Foul' - working title on my side arc I'm running my #Starfinder group thru. The party's Witchwarper is contacted about a detective case he ran where his partner was killed. A new case has come up and the genetic match is too close NOT to be from the same guy...right? Right?!
The Stewards are fun, I eventually spotlight them in most of my campaigns. I didn't get to play around much around the Drift Crisis(yet??) but them having a veritable stargate network during the time and them not capitalizing on it was a...choice.

I laughed
So you have $200k to spend on housing but not salaries? Owning a farm but not wanting to work your own land sounds like “landlord” to me. Why is the aspiring ‘gentlewoman farmer’ supposed to inspire empathy from me, and not the people “living in fear” of being kidnapped?
ZOHRAN: “TBH, I don’t think too much about how Republicans portray me. The power of an ideology is judged in the worth of its delivery— to be told a city-run grocery store is implausible but $500 MILLION/day to kill ppl in Iran & Lebanon is necessary speaks to a broken politics.”
When they said "AI will increase productivity" I didn't realize they meant "AI code will crash the social media networks on which I procrastinate, forcing me to actually do my job"
I love using this meme whenever I see an AI generated pictures of the weirdo doing something stupid. Seriously, there are so many hand-drawn political cartoons around the world featuring the turd doing literally everything. Not to mention he's a living cartoon character, so photos should be fine.
Several folks in my mentions said they quit watching the new Count of Monte Cristo on PBS because it features Black actors. My friend, you are going to be shocked when you learn the ethnicity of Alexandre Dumas.
It's more of how to make an NPC companion item using the Foundry vtt.
zackeryatlas 12h The degradation of society: 1. Celebrating the k!lling of a CEO 2. Cheering on warehouse arsons 3. Making heroes out of people who attempt political violence You can be outraged at the system and still not glorify violence. These aren't wins. This is a society losing its moral compass. [Coming from a liberal btw]
I don’t know how people keep forgetting that workers rights were entirely written in blood and the capital class had to be threatened with violence before they agreed to things like 8 hour working days and 2 day weekends.
A pale skinned human male with 80s era fake brain makeup(?) showing atop their skull in an episode of Doctor Who from 1983
Watching some Classic Doctor Who while I do some game prep, and I'm floored this is the jump scare cliffhanger folks were doing in 1983.
