The thing about ai that companies don’t understand (because their advertising departments are run by out of touch sociopaths only interested in “line go up”) is people perceive ai ads as CHEAP. Like damn you can’t even afford a commercial? Why would I buy your product?

An angry goose says 'TRADITIONAL VALUES'

the next panel shows the goose chasing a human asking
WHAT 'TRADITIONAL VALUES

I do not understand the mindset that makes liberals express sympathy for someone who would have absolutely celebrated if the roles were reversed, like bro, have some god damned self respect

Have no empathy for him, for he had none for you.
He was an awful person and deserved what he got.

You can't change my mind.

Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

Photo of the Day.

Israel threatened reprisals if the press filmed Gaza from above during airdrops.

This is why. A scene of destroyed & burnt out buildings in what is left of Gaza City, the pre-war home to 800,000 people.

Credit to Post photographer Heidi Levine who defied the ban & took this.

anytime you make a post about how people should stop using Spotify because it fucking sucks, someone pops in from from the Discover feed about how there's no alternative and ignores that you can just buy music or use another streaming service that isn't doing this shit. Anyway, stop using Spotify

Got blocked on FB by the Seattle Metaphysical Library after questioning their recent use of AI generated images...
I also didn't realize libraries had target demographics

“The New York Times collaborated with a white nationalist eugenicist hacker and agreed to keep his identity a secret to publish a Zohran Mamdani hit piece” is a way bigger story than “18 year old Zohran Mamdani ticked ‘African American’ on his Columbia application because he was a citizen of Uganda”

If it took 8 days to build a massive concentration camp in Florida then it means they could build and house the homeless at any point but choose not to

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."

You cannot convince me that any of the people who got out of the blue care are *actually* ICE or federal agents and not people who think they can just get away with this.
They look like they got vests and patches from Alibaba, none of their gear matches.

The Senate education tax bill establishes a $200,000 ceiling on federal student loans for professional degrees, like medicine. But the median cost of attending four years of medical school for the class of 2025 is $286,454 for public institutions and $390,848 for private schools, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.

"You're looking at a person, a first-generation college student, who went to medical school, and didn't borrow money," Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), who sits on the Senate HELP Committee, said. "I worked my tail off. Anyone who is paying more than $100,000 to go to school is making a huge mistake."
Marshall graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1987, when the average in-state tuition for a public medical school nationally was around $4,696. That sum in today's dollars is about $13,300 - far less than what the Kansas program costs in 2025.

A boomer senator saying that nobody should pay more than $100k to go to med school when the median cost at public university in 2025 is $286k really sums up the state of American politics right now.

It's 2025. This is the future our forefathers dreamt about. Do we have rights? Not really. But everything is online. Can you easily fill out a form? Only if you download a free trial of Adobe Acrobat. Can you cancel after a month if you forget to unsubscribe? God no.

Remember, Kids-
If someone not readily identifiable as law enforcement is assaulting and detaining someone, call 911 to report a kidnapping.
And unmarked vehicles are NOT identifiable as "Emergency Vehicles."
Take pictures of license plates, please.
