#pigeons are one of those things where the more you look, the more impressive they get.

#pigeons flight is really underappreciated. they can spiral dive, somersault, hover, do 90° turns at insane speed, can reach up to 160km/h, lift straight off the ground and fly dozens of meters straight up.

they can do this on recall. some breeds are bred to show more risky flight behaviors, which is unethical imho. anyway, people train their pigeons to return to them as fast as possible in case there is a danger in the air.
