That's what I expected early on. Maybe there's a grand plan to have her and Captain Frenchie beat the colonists in a hypothetical s3 (while getting Ed back for "one last job", which sounds awful), but it leaves s2's ending pretty trash

Another thing I didn't like about s2 -- Zheng didn't get the three-dimensional and badass treatment that you were starting to expect in the early episodes. Instead her arc just tanks with, yes, racist and misogynistic tropes. Not like she got much character time by then anyway

The latter, absolutely 🤣 Lucius thinks he is, but Izzy is much more focused, even if he's quieter about it
