I've always been fascinated with Nick- while a world without George leaves everyone worse off, Nick is the only one who turns actively cruel and vicious, which leads one to wonder how much of that is there under the surface in the "real" world

You have an open palm, which is the ideal staging area for 1-8 gushers
Not a lot of games I like well enough to buy the whole line in hardcover
One of the best to do it!
The Pokemon one is repeated viewing in our house

because I like Andy
FREE PLANET by @aubreysitterson.com and Jed Dougherty (no relation). We've all seen the big, glorious sci-fi revolution in movies and comics. But FP asks "what comes next?". Nothing easy, that's for sure. Bombastic and brash but still thoughtful, it's a great read. It's out now!
Next: @zoewithasword.bsky.social sent me SEVEN WIVES to read, and it legit feels like how it felt to Vertigo books in the mid 2000s. Bloody murder, a broad cast, sharp dialogue and punchy storytelling, it's the perfect kickoff the IDW Crime line. Pre-order!
Comics I've read! First: IF DESTRUCTION BE OUR LOT, by les frères Rosenberg and Andy MacDonald (from DOCTOR STRANGE!). It's a dynamite premise: humanity extinct, survived by the things we built to serve us- robots (and one is Abe Lincoln). Melancholic and weird and full of (robot) heart. Pre-order!
yeah- the main gags were always extremely simple but embellished with such elaborate art and language and jokes that you never ran out of stuff to enjoy. My dad got me and my brother #67 as our first Groo and we read it ragged
Mark Evanier and Stan Sakai being characters in Groo was great.
because Zac is a huge Hellraiser pervert
this is honestly huge news for you
