Oh no!
Hope youβre going to be able to defend your space!
Such a difficult situation!
We had several close calls and family separation due to wind driven fires here in SoCal!
Have you in our thoughts tonight β€οΈ!

Rain can be so, so very nice!
We rarely get enough here in SoCal.
Love the sound and fragrance we get from gentle rain.
Hereβs a short clip, even has faint thunder if listen closely π€π
They like just about any traditional jam or jelly!
Iβm using strawberry jam right now and it also attracts blue jays, mockingbirds, crowned sparrows and house finches π
Yes, taking that trip is truly worth doing if youβre ever finding yourself in Durango!
Thank you my friend π
The clouds were perfect that day π
Thank you Paul π
Thank you E.C.π
Hope youβre doing well Kimbi!
All ok here.
I worked next to the flower fields in Carlsbad for over 30 years, so I drove along the coast almost daily back and forth to work π€
Glad that it gives you some good memories!
Thank you Kimbi π
Right spot, right time!

The magical beauty of a Southern California sunset, captured at the pier, in Oceanside, California.
Late spring!
Very nice Javierπππ€
So sad to see our country go so far off track!
Our own systems of oversight and stopping this are failing us.
Ok, summertime, I just read the alt textβ¦π
Looks like Heisler park in all its glory!
You really captured the green essence of springtime here Javier πππππ
Such a peaceful scene, I can hear the gentle water and the birds singing, if only in my mind π
Thank you Ralphπ
I took a break from planting because of bad knees for 2 years, but now Iβm planning to plant a full spring and fall season garden again. Hard work, but the rewards are amazing!
It was a smoke belching beast πππ!
Canβt believe they get away with the coal burning carbon footprint!
Incredible!
The first place I lived after moving to California was a condo in Santee, near San Diego.
The Old Mission Dam was about a 1/4 mile walk down to the San Diego River!
The dam is now part of Mission Trails Park.
Wow! I canβt get over how clean everything is on that locomotive π!
Hereβs a picture of a locomotive that runs daily trips in Colorado.
Plants growing in a garden from seeds planted in October.y
A plant of sugar snap peas, growing well in December. Brussels sprouts in the foreground and beets, lettuce and pole beans in the background.
December 23, a vegetable garden with a variety of vegetables. A small dog is trying to get a pea off the vine for a treat.
Tomatoes growing on a plant that was sprouted in the garden in early February.
Hi Ralph!
Yes, weβre fortunate here in SoCal, most plants can grow year round.
I planted a winter garden for the first time last October, it did better than I thought!
Still have beets, garlic, lettuce and Brussels sprouts going, but end of February I planted a spring garden and itβs doing great π

Just checked my vegetable garden for any progress or, god forbid, a gopher visit!
And well, here was the first zucchini of the season saying hello π!
The seed was planted March 11, a day before I had knee replacement surgery, so five weeks later, a zucchini π
Must be spooky!
Pitch dark with howling wind that makes the buildings rattle and creakβ¦ probably worse than spending a night in Alcatraz π±!

Hanging too far over the edge of the sheer canyon wall to capture a Jeep making its way up the Shafer Trail.
Photo taken from the Shafer Trail overlook at Island in the Sky, Canyonlands National Park in Utah.
Nicely done Stewart!
You also captured some swirling energy that caught my eye, like The Starry Night by Van Gogh⦠No?
Love thisππ
It could be a sky with interesting clouds and wind, if you squint a little bit π€
