Last night while we struggled to figure out the Thai QR payment a stranger came up and just paid for us. Tried to pay him back in cash but he just wished us a great time, smiled and left :) Humans are lovely ❤️
My takeaway from playing a few rounds of this is that I know next to nothing about what web fonts can do in CSS… awesome idea!

I spent 2 months learning about quantization and am extremely proud of the post I've written about it. I think these are some of the nicest visuals I've ever made, and I love how this compression technique invented in 1898 is being used on the bleeding edge in 2026.

So it looks like Neon, my database provider, quietly changed their Prisma adapter which silently broke the database integration on my website. Super unfortunate, but great case for monitoring beyond simple uptime.

Starting in March, I will take 6 months to travel and during that time I plan to revamp my website a little. In addition to more content, I have so many great ideas I want to pursue to make it feel more personal 🏠
