I have text responses from a writing task for an experimental manipulation. I used to hire RAs to code the main themes. I thought it can be done using AI like ChatGPT. Anyone can recommend resources I can look up to learn the best practice?

Sorry to hear that, Cameron. Sounds like a strange and hard to be motivated system to me. Although ANU seems to have a promotion freeze due to lack of money... which is a different issue.
