Got cleared by my doctor to stop wearing bandaids everyday! Yay!

1 month post op!
Mobility wise- every single day things get much easier to do
As you can see I’m almost past the scabbing phase on my incisions and almost past the peeling phase on my nipples.
It’s crazy being able to see changes in my chest literally day to night

can’t believe this is just my body now… and it’s only gonna get better?????

My left side is more swollen than my right - pain is probably a 2/10, discomfort is 5/10. I’m getting tired of wearing the binder but it’s important to keep compression on the swelling. My mobility is improving, I’m able to get tshirts on! Still can’t raise my arms past my chest though

Two weeks post op, finally getting my mobility back, still fatigued but I’m feeling good

My pain is pretty well managed as I am on 3 different medications, I’m experiencing some discomfort in my chest, and a HUGE lack of mobility in my arms and shoulders but that’s as expected. I will sometimes get little sharp pains that last about 15sec in my nipples and incisions but that’s about it

Incase I haven’t mentioned it: I got top surgery and a hysterectomy. It was an internal removal so I don’t have any marks or scaring, healing for that has been easy, I’m just experiencing some spot bleeding but it’s starting to clear up now. Im very bloated from that surgery as well from meds I’m on

Starting Wednesday I am now free of bandages and wraps besides the bandaids and antibiotic ointment I will apply and change daily on my nipples. I still have to wear a compression binder for 7-8 weeks to combat the swelling. I much prefer this to wearing the ace bandage wrap though.
