North Peary, the "Anthill Kingdom", filters polar ice melt through the ceilings of its enormous, terraformed lava tube chambers, falling as gentle rain. Two steam locomotives lashed to a long train of goods fly past; they are fueled by charcoal from Peary's vast, grown forests.

You may not like it, but this is what peak Warhammer 40K tank design looked like #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer
Every pauldron has a story...logistically speaking of course.
A Space Marine in red armour with black trim, firing a boltgun from the hip.
Another stands boltgun at the ready, with worn and chipped armour.
Finished two test Red Corsairs - happy with the scheme that isn't too complicated and looks good. I went for some heavy weathering as I think it fits in with their piratical, raiding theme.
Looks like the new Rakshasa has been seen - coming soon(TM)

This is PLAY ON ALPHA STRIKE!
A painted miniature of an Ostroc 'Mech. It is blue with white highlights. The cockpit glass is orange. The emblem of the 1st Aragon Borderers, a blue crenelated shield, is on the right knee. The sunburst emblem of the Federated Suns is on the left arm. The number "70" is on the lower left leg. The miniature is photographed on rocky terrain.

Definitely my favorite Ost- 'Mech, going by appearance.

Airborne Assault Type B
SPI Mk. II
Ten Renegade Guardsmen, in khaki fatigues and ragtag grey armour. They all carry lasguns.
One trooper stands with lasgun levelled, firing from the hip.
Another advances cautiously.
A third prepares to fire, also holding a knife in one hand.
The first unit completed from the Red Corsairs isn't even a Space Marine unit - I took the chance to round out my Horus Heresy Militia with another squad of 10. That gives me two squads of 20 Expendable troops to throw into the meat grinder when I'm playing Iron Warriors.
A Dark Angels Praetor, in black Mk 3 armour, with two lightning claws.
A close up of his face, he is bare headed with mid length brown hair and a silver circlet. He has a craggy, determined face
A rear view, showing his battered green cape.
A side view, showing him stood ready to lean forwards into a lightning claws strike
My new Dark Angels Praetor, Oathmaster Azkalon. I did like the pose of the original model with sword and shield, but wanted to give him lightning claws, I don't think any of my other characters have ever used them.
Ten Death Korps of Krieg troopers advancing across rocky ground, wearing grey greatcoats and green armour.
One trooper kneels and takes aim with their lasgun.
Another stands ready, bayonet fixed.
Together the troops present a disciplined firing line behind a hedge of bayonets.
8th Squad, 2nd Platoon, now complete, and ready to join the rest of my Death Korps army. The whole project is about 74% complete now. I need to find a better way to store these, I'm running out of shelf space!
A fleet of painted 1:1,800 Royal Navy ships from WW2, on a sea-coloured game board.
A close up of the powerful and large battlecruiser Hood
The battleship Prince of Wales, with a small S-class submarine just next to her giving a sense of scale.
HMS Formidable, the aircraft carrier.
I've finished my WW2 Victory at Sea fleet. This represents the fictional Force V, created in 1942 to counter an alternate history all-out assault by the Kriegsmarine. This will be the basis of our next campaign! Really enjoyed painting these, something a bit different.

digital drawing of two spartans from halo in their armor, giving each other a fist bump. the left one has green armor and the number 121 on his chest, the right one has red armor and 099 on her chest. you can see a blue sky and clouds behind them, and a halo ring in the distance, barely visible
You know these roads.

I love you desert pink. I love you goofy little nose art.

A huge reason that I find Space Marines compelling is that they are mecha.
Please consult my diagram.

1) Excelsior (all versions). Classic ship of the line.
2) Akira. Sleek, angry torpedo cruiser!
3) Vengeance. Antithesis to all Trek stands for, but damn, if she doesn't look gorgeous doing it! Very hard to screenshot in space though...
