From the Desk of Layoff Larry, CEO Today, we are excited to announce the launch of our video game satire publication, the GG Tribune! We heard everyone’s pleas that starting a website in 2026 was a terrible career move, and we said bet. We’re a group of comedy writers who got together because we wanted to build something of our own. Where we can be free to follow our creative instincts without the tether of people who don’t know what they’re doing or algorithms that only know how to spell SEO. All we want is to make some gaming-related comedy, the way we want to make it, and to provide other creatives a place to do so and get paid for it. That’s where you come in, reader of this post. The GG Tribune is owned by us, and unfortunately, video game satire doesn’t pay well, so the GG Tribune will be supported by readers (and viewers, we have a YouTube) like you. We’re not trying to make a profit, although it would be nice cause we hate our jobs, we just want to keep the lights on. We’ll pay out of pocket for everything as long as we can, but we urge you to check out our Patreon, subscribe to our YouTube and Twitch, even just sharing our content across social media (especially Reddit) helps. The industry is volatile, and the world is on fire, and we can’t do much about that, but we can at least make fun of all of the nonsense as the ship goes down.
🚨WE INTERUPT YOUR SCROLLING TO BRING YOU A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
