what have I missed?

it’s Saturday and I’m still in the office

but for not so obvious reasons

my wife wants me to vacuum the entry area and bedroom

but I’m busy 🤭

I hope she doesn’t see this post

I thought of revamping my newsletter

as far as I know, the 2 metrics are subscribers count and open rate

I changed topic, reduced the size of the newsletter, and added different categories

I'll give it a month, post weekly and see how it goes

Not sure about you, but sometimes I feel like there's no direction.

And I'm tempted to start all over again.

But I won't.

Looking forward to coming up with a new app idea.

When I have it, I'll post about it online.

Let's see if things change if I get a bit more ACTIVE.

I've been doing work that doesn't seem to make any difference.

The newsletter is slowly gaining attention, but there's still so much to do.

Editing videos for my YT channel is so time consuming.

I keep postponing marketing my app because I don't really know what to do.

I don't know how to make money.

The shortcut I'm tempted to take is freelancing (and this is no April Fools' Day joke).

It's not nice and I don't feel the pressure of making money right now...

But it doesn't feel great to spend 1.5 years without any noticeable results.

I remember there was one guy who reached out and we had a chat about our apps because he saw the stickers on my laptop

now I'm back home and it's just boring

if I had to do a straight forward task, that's alright

but because I have to figure out which way I should go and I should be creative

there's something I miss so much since I came back from Thailand:

hanging out with like minded people

somehow, going to a cafe and being surrounded by digital nomads and remote workers gave me motivation
